Can I try Mighty Netball for free?
Yes, we offer a free taster session by prior arrangement. This is to ensure that your child enjoys Mighty Netball before signing up. After the taster session, you able to book for the remainder of the term.
Can I just turn up?
We love to see new faces, however please contact us before you arrive. We will arrange for you to attend a taster session and ensure our coaches have your details to hand during the session.
How do I book?
You can book online for a term. We operate three terms; Autumn, Spring and Summer and play term time only. Payment is made in advance and a term is approximately 12 weeks long.
What happens at the end of the term?
Near the end of the term you will receive an email towards giving you details of the next term and when you will need to paid by should you wish to continue. Your child’s place is guaranteed up to the date stated on the email.

Please check out the locations page for details of our sessions and timings. We are growing rapidly and launching new venues this year. If you can't find your area; get in touch to express your interest and we will do our best to come to you
How old do you need to be?
We range from 2 to 11 years of age.
How long do the sessions last?
For Preschool to Reception the session lasts 30 minutes. For Year 1 to Year 6, the sessions last 45 minutes. The sessions are very active.
Is Mighty Netball just for girls?
Our sessions are for everyone and we welcome all regardless of their gender, ability and personality type. We train our coaches in inclusivity and sessions are adapted to the needs of the group on the day.
Do you just coach netball skills?
We work on a number of skills that support the physical literacy framework. This grounding in physical skills will allow participants to go on to play many Sports later in life. In addition to physical skills, participants will benefit by developing life skills such as listening, taking turns, being assertive and much more.
Can Parents/Adults participate?
Adult participation is encouraged for the younger age groups. Parents can participate for the older ones if they wish however this is normally not necessary. We want your child to feel comfortable at our sessions; Coaches will support the children as required.
What shall I wear and bring?
Please wear something comfortable with trainers for your own safety. We have clothing for sale but this is not essential. Please bring water as the sessions are active with the opportunity for a drink break.
Are Coaches trained?
All our Coaches have been through detailed training in the Mighty Way. All are DBS checked, first aid trained and hold safeguarding for children certificates.
Are the sessions fully insured?
All Mighty Netball sessions are fully insured.
How strict is the Coaching?
The most important aspect of Mighty Netball is fun. Coaches work hard to ensure the children have fun and enjoy their session. Skills are covered in the sessions and Netball knowledge is incorporated but this is not to the detriment of enjoyment!
What happens if I feel my child should be in an alternative age group to their year?
We offer sessions based on age, however we are aware that all children have different needs. Please get in touch to discuss. All our Coaching staff are approachable and will provide feedback if needed.
